ARMTEC EQUIPMENT is an Australian company. Our Assembly Plant is in China. Armtec Equipment was established to meet the growing demand for Pneumatic Industrial Manipulators – Zero Gravity Lift Assist Devices resulting from the increasing world-wide concern for the health and safety of workers in manufacturing.

Our Mission is to supply Pneumatic Manipulators and other Lift Assist Devices to solve repetitive handling problems and which satisfy all the requirements of International Corporations (ergonomic, safe, easy to use, reliable and durable) and do this at a lower cost, with greater local content and faster delivery.

To achieve this we set up our Assembly Plant in China to take advantage of the lower cost base there and the larger market there. All our equipment is designed and manufactured to BS EN ISO 12100:2010 Standards and to comply with European 2006/42/EC Machinery Safety Directive (MD). All design, manufacturing and assembly are to Armtec specifications and under Armtec supervision and quality control.

An important part of our quality control and ongoing customer support is that:
Before manufacture the customer is supplied with drawings to review and approve before we proceed to manufacture.

After manufacture we test the equipment in simulated conditions before dismantling and delivery. Photos or videos of this testing can be supplied to customers for buy-off. Customers are always welcome to visit our Assembly Plant in Shanghai to do their own buy-off testing.

We use pneumatic components from International suppliers such as SMC, Festo, Parker and similar for both quality and world-wide availability of spare parts.
Armtec equipment is easy to maintain and is virtually trouble free as long as clean dry air is supplied. We supply a comprehensive manual covering product description, operation, component parts, maintenance, trouble shooting, and spare parts. An Armtec trained engineer is always available for telephone support to customers and their maintenance staff.

Armtec equipment has already been supplied to sites as far afield Russia, Romania, Morocco and Mexico as well as to our traditional markets of China, Thailand and the Asia Pacific Region.

Armtec equipment is currently available through authorized agents in China, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. For installations and service in regions where there is no authorised Armtec partner, our policy is to train both the customer’s staff and a local service company to ensure that the customer can receive ongoing support. Armtec is always ready to assist.
